Mission Statement
The mission of the Scott County Health Department is to assure
access to acceptable and appropriate health care, to enhance the quality of life through education, health promotion and prevention
of disease. Through responsible use, and availability of its resources, the department will provide those services which are
mandated to it as a unit of government and will provide those services which are identified as needed by the community
health needs.
